The person responsible for handling your personal data (the data controller) is Julio Cañas, operating under the trade name JulioFinance, based in Miami, Florida, United States.

2. What data we collect
We only collect data that you give us voluntarily or that is generated automatically when you use the site.
Data you give us voluntarily
- FintelBrief™ subscription (monthly newsletter): email, optionally your name, and the page you subscribed from.
- Waitlist for the book “Secretos del Empresario Millonario™”: email and optionally your name.
- Contact form: name, email, and the message you write.
- Lead magnets / assessments: the data you enter into the assessments lives on an external platform with its own policy. If you are interested, review that policy before completing the assessment.
Data generated automatically
- Site analytics: anonymized IP, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time on page, referrer (where you came from).
- Cookies: see the Cookies section below.
We do not collect payment data on this site (paid services such as FintelAdvisers™ or FintelAgency™ have their own processes on their respective sites). We do not collect data from minors (this site is intended for adults).
3. How we use your data

4. Legal basis
- Explicit consent for newsletter subscriptions, the waitlist, and the contact form (you click “Subscribe” / “Send”).
- Legitimate interest in anonymous site analytics (understanding usage, improving the experience).
- Legal compliance when a competent authority requires data from us under a court order or equivalent.
5. Who we share your data with
Your data is processed through technology providers that meet reasonable security standards. Our current providers:

These providers act as data processors under our instructions. They do not use your data for purposes other than those we authorize.
6. Retention period
- Newsletter subscription: for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove your email from the active system within a reasonable period.
- Book waitlist: until the book is published and the related communications are complete, or until you ask to be removed.
- Contact form: until your inquiry is resolved, plus a reasonable additional period for reference.
- Analytics data: aggregated and anonymized, retained according to each provider's standard policies (typically between 14 and 26 months in Google Analytics).
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete it (“right to be forgotten”): ask us to erase it.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (including analytics).
- Request portability of your data (that we provide it to you in a standard format).
- Withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand).
If you live in California (CCPA / CPRA)
In addition, you have the right to:
- Know what data we hold about you and where we obtained it.
- Request its deletion.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your data (although, as clarified above, we do not sell data under any circumstances).
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
If you live in the European Union (GDPR)
If you visit the site from the EU, you are also covered by the rights of the General Data Protection Regulation. You can exercise them through the same channels.

8. Cookies
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a site stores on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit it. It is used to remember information about your visit (preferences, session, behavior).

If you disable technical cookies, some parts of the site may stop working as you would expect.

9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS), databases with role-based access control (strict RLS in Supabase), and providers with industry-standard security certifications.
No security measure is absolute. If you ever spot a problem, write to us at info@fintelhub.com and we will look into it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site, in the technology providers we use, or in applicable regulations. The date at the top of the document indicates the version in effect. Material changes will be announced on the site (or by email to those subscribed to the newsletter).
11. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and applicable federal laws of the United States. Where applicable, we also recognize the application of the CCPA/CPRA (California) and the GDPR (European Union) for visitors from those jurisdictions.
