About me
I never found the advisor I needed.
Venezuelan economist, former CFO of financial services firms, and founder of FintelGroup™. Today I help business owners and families in the United States make sound financial decisions.

The path
1985-2002 · Roots
I grew up in Maracay, the son of an agronomist and an endocrinologist. At home there was a big library and two people always reading. My older brother, an economist from UCAB, was my model from the time I was a kid. In high school, my dad paid me $3 for every good grade. Without quite realizing it, he trained me to turn what I knew into money. In 1996 we moved to Caracas. In 2002 I enrolled at UCAB to study Economics, following in my brother's footsteps.
2002-2011 · Banking and the classroom
I started at UCAB in 2002 to study Economics. I graduated in 2007, the same year my first son Diego was born. Venezuela's financial system was contracting, and banks were disappearing. It was time to look abroad. Alongside a career at some of the most important firms in the Venezuelan financial system, I also taught financial mathematics at UCAB: first as a teaching assistant, then as a professor until January 2011. Almost a decade in front of a classroom. That is where the passion for teaching was born, the one that defines everything I do today.
2011-2013 · The leap to Miami
I left Venezuela as the corporate CFO of an international financial group. From New York I coordinated investments, banking acquisitions across the Caribbean, and oversight of entities in Aruba. I lived in Scarsdale and worked in Manhattan. For the first time I saw the full financial picture from the top down. In 2012 the New York division shut down and the group pivoted toward the Caribbean and Central America. I stayed in Miami: in February I earned my Series 65 license (Investment Adviser Representative) and started building something of my own. Miami became my base.
2013-2016 · Training and reinvention
Master's in Financial Markets and Asset Management (IEB Madrid, 2013). Florida 2-15 in 2014. Worked as an independent consultant on financial projects that laid the groundwork for what came next. In 2016: MS in Banking and Financial Services Management (Boston University) and the birth of Fintelhub®, my education project with a premise I had carried since Caracas: before you advise someone, you have to teach them to think differently about money.
2016-2018 · The genesis of the group
I consolidated my practice with Latino entrepreneurs and small businesses based in Miami. My audience came into focus: service-business owners who needed more than an investment advisor or an insurance agent. They needed an orchestrator. Every client was a lesson in what the Latino business ecosystem in the United States actually needs. These years were the genesis of what FintelGroup™ is today.
2018-2023 · The piece almost nobody studies
Without ever stepping away from my clients, I became obsessed with one question: why do brilliant entrepreneurs make bad financial decisions? The answer was not in the numbers. It was in the behavior. Five years devoted to the piece almost nobody touches in advisory work: the psychology of money, the neuroscience of decisions, founder biases. That stretch gave birth to Bioneurofinanzas™ and rewrote how I work with every client.
Today · FintelGroup™
FintelGroup™ with its three brands (FintelAgency™, FintelAdvisers™, Fintelinsurance™) as my core practice. And from there, my work expanded into a second front you will see further down. 100+ companies advised. 1.6M+ downloads of the Despierta Tus Finanzas® podcast. And the book that documents the full system: Secretos del Empresario Millonario™, on the way.
Outside of work
Outside of work I am Andreina's husband and a dad of four: three humans and Luna, our mini goldendoodle. I travel every chance I get. I am a sucker for Italian food. I have played video games since I was 5, these days on PlayStation®. I ride mountain bikes when the weather and my knee allow it. I build wealth for my family with the same intent I bring to my clients: because money, well designed, buys something that has no price. Time. Experiences. Options.
The methodology
Most advisors only address one of the orders.I work all three at once.
After 20 years working with business owners, I reached one conclusion: financial problems are rarely a single type. There are almost always three layers. And for the system to work, all three have to be aligned.
How you decide. Most financial problems are not about math, they are about behavior: inherited money programming, a permanent scarcity mindset, delegating with no real criteria. I work on this with Bioneurofinanzas™, my methodology that blends the psychology of money with neuroscience so you move from reacting to the day to day toward deciding with your own judgment.
How your capital flows and stays protected. The Hierarchy of Financial Needs™ and the 9 Financial Pillars™: cash flow, controls, compliance, tax architecture, net worth, and investments. Real-time KPIs, dashboards that unify your data, and active tax planning all 12 months of the year. The system that turns operating profit into independent wealth.
How your company runs without depending on you. The O.R.E.™ Method (Organize, Refine, Expand): organizational structure, responsibilities, processes, delegation, and systematization, with artificial intelligence applied to operations to eliminate inefficiencies. You stop being the bottleneck and become the architect of a system that runs without your constant involvement.
Práctica actual
My core practice is direct advisory work with business owners across the United States through FintelGroup™ and its three brands. It is where I spend most of my time, alongside my team, serving service-business owners day in and day out.
At FintelAdvisers™ I work one-on-one on personal and family wealth. At FintelAgency™ I guide the company's financial and tax strategy, plus the rollout of artificial intelligence across its operations. At Fintelinsurance™ I design the financial protection of the business owner and their family. Each brand handles a different layer, but they all speak the same language under one architecture: the FintelWealth™ method I designed to unite the business and wealth into a single system.
In parallel, I contribute to a stronger financial industry from another front. As a Senior Consultant at International Compliance Solutions, I work as a compliance consultant and Fractional Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for firms operating as SEC- and state-registered Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), helping Latin American financial groups build out the compliance systems they need to operate.
Lifelong learner
If you made it this far, you already know who I am and why I do what I do. The question is what do you, your family, and/or your company need?
